First of all my apologies for not writing the past two weeks. It has been a quiet period with very little news. After last month series of tournaments we have a sort of intermediate period. We are awaiting our new lady trainer Huaiwen Xu who will start next Monday.
The past two weeks it was mainly physical work at Papendal. The multishuttle trainings on Tuesday and Thursday were very tough but on the other hand these sessions give a lot of satisfaction. Yesterday we were informed which players are going to play for the Sudirman Cup, the World Championship for National teams next month in Qingdao, China. For the second time in my career I have been selected for this fantastic event. In 2009 this tournament was in Guangzhou and the atmosphere in the stadium was great. Anyway we still have 7 weeks to go before we leave. Before that we will play the Dutch International in Wateringen and the new international challenge tournament in Frederikshavn, Denmark.
For the rest it didn’t stay unnoticed that there are a lot of transfers going to take place. There is also gossip about me but I haven´t made up my mind yet. As soon as I have I will let you know.
