Only one won match

Another day in Paris brought Dicky Palyama as the only winner. He played a good match against home favourite Brice Leverdez and won in straight games. Koen Ridder and Ruud Bosch lost their double match from the 14th seeded pair from China and the mixed double of Dave Khodabux and Samantha  Barning was lost in three games from their Bulgarian opponents.

It was a relatively easy day for the favourites. There were two big surprises. In the mixed doubles the numbers three of the world, the Polish Mateusiak and Zieba, lost from their opponents from Singapore and in the men’s doubles the 9th seeded pair from Indonesia Alvent and Gunawan lost from Hendra Wijaya and Hendri Saputra. They are from Singapore too.

Tomorrow my match is finally scheduled at 4.45 PM. Today I did some training together with Paulien van Dooremalen and I had a good massage thanks to our physio Sylvia. Apart from that I watched some good matches. The problem is that while you are watching some exciting games, you also want to play yourself. That’s why I am looking forward to our match tomorrow. I will try to update the site tomorrow evening after I have played. Please keep your fingers crossed, because we will need that for sure!
